DEFICIENCY
CRITERIA: Electrical
service panel is not reasonably accessible (i.e., cannot be reached and opened
without moving obstructions, dismantling, destructive measures, or actions that
may pose a risk to persons or property).
HEALTH AND SAFETY DETERMINATION:
Moderate.
CORRECTION
TIMEFRAME: 30 days
HCV PASS / FAIL: Fail
HCV – CORRECTION TIMEFRAME: 30
days
DEFICIENCY 2: THE OVERCURRENT PROTECTION DEVICE IS DAMAGED.
DEFICIENCY
CRITERIA: The overcurrent protection device (i.e., fuse or
breaker) is damaged (i.e., visibly defective; impacts functionality) such that
it may not interrupt the circuit during an overcurrent condition.
HEALTH AND SAFETY DETERMINATION:
Life-Threatening
This is a severe health and safety issue
that would cause a serious undue burden on the resident if the deficiency is
present for an extended period of time.
CORRECTION TIMEFRAME: 24 hours
HCV PASS / FAIL: Fail
HCV – CORRECTION TIMEFRAME: 24 hours
DEFICIENCY 3: THE OVERCURRENT PROTECTION DEVICE IS CONTAMINATED.
